Pattie is involved in all aspects of operation and programming for the Women’s Center as well as serving on committees involved in issues of particular interest to women staff and students. Prior to joining the Women’s Center Staff, Pattie worked in the University of Dayton Development Office (1999-2003). Pattie developed an interest in women’s issues while growing up in a house with four sisters, one brother and a set of parents who did not believe in the girls’ work/boys’ work dichotomy.

Pattie holds a BS in Criminal Justice from the University of Dayton, and an AA in Sociology from Sinclair Community College. Pattie has also been active in many volunteer organizations including POP (Professional Office Personnel) (2000-Present), a member of Parents of Murdered Children (1990-Present) and a Rape Crisis Team Member (1996-Present), Artemis Peacekeeper's Award Committee (2004-Present), MOSAIC (Miami Valley Sexual Assault Collaborative) (2004 - Present; Co-leader 2008 - Present). Pattie is married to Rick and they live in Englewood. They have two daughters and six grandchildren. When not working Pattie enjoys reading, hiking, and time with family and friends.
